Heavy Duty Camera Shoe Mount Adapter with Ball Head for Monitors is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from At Last, a solid mini ball head I have struggled for years with the mini heads supplied with lights and monitors. This will replace all of them that I currently own. It is rock solid. I use Manfrotto 492 heads for Atomos Ninja Inferno monitors. I put one of these in its place and it had no problem with the weight of the monitor loaded with a pair of batteries. You can easily remove the hot shoe mount and screw it to a 3/8" stud. Which is how I attach the monitor to my camera handle. My days of struggling with cheap mini ball heads just ended. Now I need to order a half dozen more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD PRODUCT I use this product on the end of a pole, where my camera is lifted about 12-16 feet in the air, to take pictures. Naturally, I wanted something that wouldn't drop my camera, and hold up to the stresses and strains of the camera's weight on the end of the elevated pole. This does the job, and does it so well that I now choose it for the primary ball-head, for this purpose. Quality is excellent, and I doubt anyone would be disappointed in purchasing this over Manfrotto, or any other brand. Good Product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Need To Worry A nice solid way to mount your monitor to a shoe or stand. A really BIG improvement over the the adapter that ships with the 7 inch monitor. Be sure to get a bushing adapter to use this on a 1/4 thread.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very strong, like it I was looking for an strong shoe mount for my Shogun and Odyssey7Q+, so I bought 3 of them and works perfect

Rated 5 out of 5 by from versatile and sturdy I purchased this ball head as a light holder for adjustable TTL speed-lite shots off-camera. The heavy duty and versatile relate to the amount of weight it can hold, while fitting either on a shoe-mount of camera or on a light stand (with the base removed). I have used it in professional settings and found it helped in placement of lights at odd angles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Option I did not purchase this to use for a monitor mount. I placed it on a shoe mount normally used for speedlites with a softbox. I put it on the end of a boom to take straight down product shots on a light table. Did not have any negatives on this product. However, I would caution you to orient the device such that weight is against the edges of the shoe mount, not the front/rear openings. I'm using a Canon 7D with a 17-40mm L series lens - not a lightweight combination. Properly oriented, on a heavy duty boom and stand, there is no noticeable shake during shutter operation. This does exactly what I wanted it to, and at a great price. I would assume this works even better if you use it for what it was designed for - a monitor mount. I definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs I bought this to use with my speedlights on a light stand so I can position the speedlight however needed. It works perfectly! You may need an adapter to put on light stand though. So be sure to check that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ball head for heavier accessories Works great, I’d prefer it if they could hand tighten more securely (I used adjustable pliers after hand tightening it so I was sure it wouldn’t loosen)
