question
I'm undecided between Yamaha HS8 and JBL LSR 308? JBL is much cheaper but is Yamaha that much better than JBL? I'm a big fan of JBL but finally it's made in China.. Where is this product made?
I recently bought this pair from B&H and its a great decision, one of the strong addition to our audio studio... we run a production outfit for commercial purpose and quality of sound is key for us to make users and clients happy.. Yamaha has been around music production for much longer.. If you can stretch your budget a bit, this is highly recommended. on where it was made? may need to check the back.. I have been buying kits from B&H for about 10years... and not had any quality issue with them though... all the best

anyone have a recommendation for a desktop speaker stand that fits the HS8 well? all the ones i've tried a bit too wobbly.
For a desktop speaker stand that is compatible with the Yamaha HS8 Powered Studio Monitor, we recommend the IsoAcoustics ISO-155 Medium Speaker Monitor Acoustic Isolation Stands (Pair), BH # ISO155PR.
