Manfrotto MK190XPRO4-3W overview

  • 1Description

The Manfrotto MK190XPRO4-3W Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head combines the MT190XPRO4 tripod legs with the MHXPRO-3W 3-way pan/tilt head. The tripod has a load capacity of 13.2 lb, extends up to 68.1", and folds down to 24.4" for transport.

The Quick Power Lock System allows you to completely extend the tripod legs with one hand. Once set up, you can use the tripod's rapid center column in standard vertical mode or swing it into horizontal position like a boom with Manfrotto's 90° column feature to get your camera down to only 3.1" above the ground. You can attach an extending arm or bracket to hold lights or reflectors via the Easy Link plug built into the tripod's spider.

The MHXPRO-3W atop of the tripod is a compact pan/tilt head with retractable handles that can be extended as needed. Two knobs control the friction for the front-to-back and side-to-side tilt, allowing you to fine tune the movements based on the weight of your gear. Three leveling bubbles ensure your composition is level on all axes. A 200PL quick-release plate with a 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw is included.

    Manfrotto MK190XPRO4-3W reviews

MK190XPRO4-3W Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent i bought this tripod to replace a 10 year old tripod with a ball head. So glad I did. I used to think I would not like a pan/tilt head but recently started to change my mind after realizing that I was silently complaining to myself about using the ball head every time I used it. I have now found that I much more prefer the control I have using a pan/tilt head. The tripod itself is also much easier to use than my old one. The old one uses twisting locks for the legs. I find that I prefer the flip style locks on this tripod more. There is also the added benefit that the MK190XPRO legs allow for a taller setting and the horizontal center post allows for a much more easily achieved lower position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Versatile This tripod/head kit works great for fine adjustments and stability when taking pictures of stills and macros. It's versatility allows me to get it into various placement positions especially for flowers. I use an old camera strap attatched to the tripods loop hook to carry it around as it is heavy. The weight is a plus for stability. The 3 way tilt head has smooth operation with adjustable tension for ease of operation and a quick release that is very secure. This is a wonderful tripod kit well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Lightweight Tripod I just took this tripod on a hiking trip to the 'Wave'. I love the fact that it has a 360-degree marker and levels which aid in creating wide pan images that are merged together in photoshop. Also, love the fact that it is lightweight.....especially as I was ascending up the mountain on the final leg of the trail. Easy to use - legs go up and down easily and click into place....I would buy it again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected I purchased the product recently and I'm very happy with it so far. Easy to use and very sturdy built. It's slightly on the heavier side but feels stable even in windy conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tripod Great tripod! The flip leg adjusters make changing the height very easy. Great for travel as it is compact; I was able to fit it into a carry-on sized luggage. So far I have only used it for a light camera, but it seems sturdy enough that I am confident it will be able to hold my Nikon D4 with 18-80 mm lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved every tripod problem I have ever had I am so in love it is silly. Sure, it's heavy, but I don't care. I shoot video for YouTube which provides me with some income, so that's fun. I am shooting with a Canon 80D that has an extra battery pack, a zoom lens, and Rode shotgun mic. My rig is pretty heavy. The manfrotto tripod easily handles the weight of my camera rig and then some. The diversity of positions that this tripod offers lets me carry it anywhere on my farm (where I typically shoot) and set it up in the weirdest of positions to capture that really interesting b-roll. I could not be happier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Great tripod for studio shooting. It allows for straight down shooting which is really convenient. It's light weight but sturdy and easy to level on uneven floors. The 3-way pan tilt head is very smooth. A solid tripod for the money.
