Auray COHH-2 Reviews
Does the job
A headphone holder that clips onto the mic stand is a nice added luxury for clients, but for about $10 it's not an expensive one. Overall it's fine. Cons: It would be nice if the horizontal bar holding the headphones was curved on the edge so it wouldn't leave creases on the inside of the headphones, but that's a minor complaint. In one of the three I own, in the clip, the plastic part that's at the end of the bolt pressing against the mic stand shaft broke in two, probably from over-tightening. It still works, but now there's a pointy metal piece pressing into my mic stands that will probably leave dent's over time. Pros: As a studio owner/engineer I like knowing that with this, the vocalists won't be hanging their headphones on the pop filter clip, making it swing out of position. I guess it's worth it. I will probably buy more in the future.
Inexpensive and useful. You still have to remind musicians to hang the headphones 16 times per session... amazing how they just throw them on the floor and next to their cold coffee.
Useful and inexpensive
It's a nice, practical problem solver. The build quality is good and doesn't cost more than it should. I'm happy with it and plan to get more.
Holds my headphones
It's a fairly simple design so there is no need to reinvent the wheel here. The knob and groove are plastic, so I am curious to see how long it holds up. The bracket and bolt are metal, so that is good as well. Right now I have it holding up my ATH M40x and it is holding up fine!
No brainer: works great
Recommending you pad the arm with gauze and padded tape or something of the sort. If you have a mic stand, put it to FULL use with this handy item.
This one is definitely one of those, I had no idea how bad I need this until I had it. I no longer need to scramble for a place to set my headphones down. It keeps my work space super tidy. And now my headphones are always in reach.
Does what it needs to
Very versatile little guy. Would recommend.
