This 6000W Plus Compact HMI Fresnel Light System with 6000W ALF Ballast from ARRI includes the 6000W Plus Compact HMI Fresnel head, barndoors, a filter frame, a 50' head/ballast cable, and an ALF electronic ballast.
The 6000W HMI head provides a daylight-balanced spotlight in a compact yet high-efficiency light. It has a beam angle of 15° to 50°. For further control of the light, this system includes barndoors and a filter frame.
The included 6000W multi-voltage electronic ballast features Automatic Line Filtering (ALF) which provides a higher Power Factor resulting in more efficient power use. This is accomplished by shifting the voltage and current waveforms in phase and minimizing harmonics and spikes. ALF also minimizes the current carried back on the neutral leg of the power systems. A 50' head/ballast cable is also included to power the lamphead.
