This X2 200W HMI System with AC Electronic Ballast from Arri includes the X2 HMI lamphead, barndoors, a frosted glass diffuser, a 50' head/ballast cable, and an AC electronic ballast.
The X2 HMI lamphead uses a unique reflector system to produce a wide 130° beam spread. Arri X lights create a soft source that can work in tight spaces as bounce light or fill light with a diffuser. Used directly, the Arri X creates hard shadows. For further control of the light, this system includes barndoors and a frosted glass diffuser.
The included AC electronic ballast is a compact, multi voltage, flicker-free ballast with a dimmable power control. A 50' head/ballast cable is also included to power the lamphead.
Lighting small to medium sized areas with daylight is easy with the ARRI X-2 HMI Flood Light. Wide beam angles of up to 120° allow flat surfaces such as buildings or scenic backgrounds to be lit evenly with a short throw. Easy changeable black reflectors are available to create a hard shadow look.
