The Vello FreeWave Viewer VL Wireless Live View Remote consists of a 2.4GHz radio transmitter, and a monitor receiver with a 3.5" Live View TFT-LCD screen. The live view monitor features a 3.5" display with a 320 x 240 resolution that is able to provide a view of what your camera is seeing. The monitor's design integrates a remote shutter release button that supports half-press control for pre-focusing. The FreeWave Viewer VL AV & Shutter Release Cable for Canon 5D Mark II from Vello will connect your camera to the FreeWave Viewer VL transmitter and allow the transmitter to send a live preview feed to the viewer. One end of the cable connects to the transmitter, and the other end to the camera. The side of the cable that connects to the camera splits in two; one side is a 3.5mm AV connection for sending the video signal to your viewer, and the other is a 3 pin connection for the shutter release to fire the camera.
The FreeWave Viewer VL Infrared Cable for select Canon Cameras from Vello connects to your Viewer VL's transmitter, and allows the viewer to start and stop video recording on select Canon DSLR cameras.
