Does a Sony a6000 support this?
The Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 ED AS IF UMC Lens for Sony E Mount may be used on the Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera. Do note that this is a fully manual lens, so you will focus the lens manually, and the aperture of the lens must be set using the aperture ring built onto the lens, not via the command dial on your camera.

Can it do automatic aperture, or do you have to control the aperture manually? I'm considering using it with a Sony A7.
This is a manual lens. It does not have autofocus. And it does not have any electronic connections so the f/stops are controlled from the f/stop ring on the lens.

Hi There! I am looking for a lens for my Sony A7S for northern lights and astrophotography. I was thinking about the Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens, but it does not seem compatible with my camera. I read I need an adapter with that lens. Will this Rokinson lens work/fit on my Sony A7s? And is it good for astrophotography and northern lights?
I have used this lens on my a7s since 2016 with zero issues at all Use it mainly for astro with some landscapes thrown in to the mix.

What are the physical dimensions and weight of the lens including the E-mount adapter that ships with the lens? Are there any pictures of the lens with the E-mount adapter? I have read reviews that indicated there are QA issues with this lens IE: multiple reviewers noted improperly aligned elements leading to focus problems at infinity and having to return one or more bad copies before getting a good one - have you experienced many returns for that issue? Thanks!
Hi William, this lens mounts directly to an e-mount camera. I have the sony a6000 and this lens attaches directly, no adapter required. Have had a great experience with mine so far - no complaints. I read that as well and took the risk, paid off thus far.Enjoy Richard
