Partly my fault. I was hoping for a smoother fit to an existing tripod head. The fit is awkward despite the general compatibility, and doesn't interface with the existing safety lock without modification.

There is no image of the rear, does it have the safety screws on the bottom?
There are no safety screws on the bottom of this plate, however it does offer a D-Ring 1/4 -20 screw.
