    Noga DG9038CA reviews

DG9038CA CineArm DG (Medium) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Get It I've been shooting on the Panasonic GH4 for about three years and I've used a variety of different monitors of different sizes and weights depending on the job. Most recently I've been using the Odyssey Q+ and the MustHD M701 - both are beastly 7 monitors and after stripping the lock screws of THREE articulating arms of various brands (usually right in the middle of intense shoots) I decided to just pay for the better brand. Just trust me, don't go cheap - get the better brand. This arm is QUALITY and most importantly reliable. We'll have to see how long this one actually lasts, but I already feel the immense difference in build/lock/strength quality. The rubber padding on the edge gripped my monitor fine, just have to keep the surface clean. But thus far this purchase has been totally worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best CineArm/Magic Arm I use this to hold a monitor on the rig. It does the job excellently. I have used magic arms from Impact and Pearstone to do the same job, but wasn't satisfied. The impact one is okay-ish, but the end where you attach the arm to the rig or the camera comes lose easily and it sometimes causes frustration. Also, the nob needs to be tightened very hard to get it to stay in a position. With this CineArm from Noga, I don't have those problems at all. It's very easy to set up a monitor wherever you like and it stays there. Great arm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable and Rock Solid I know this is more expensive than a lot of other support arms on the market, but the build quality is superior. If you're attaching an expensive monitor -- is it worth saving a few dollars and taking a chance on it falling? Once locked in position, this arm is going to stay put until released.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A trusted shooting companion We had our first Noga Arm for 6 years of quasi daily use, and it never failed us. Everything got an end and the medium screw eventually broke. We tried a few different brands to replace it, but that was a frustrating waste of time and money; none lasted more than a few days.A new Noga CineArm has replaced them all, and frankly speaking, we just don't even think about it; it is truly a trusted shooting companion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, solid arm Beautifully machined and very solid. The knob for tightening/loosening sticks out a little but not a big deal. I've used it for only a handful of shoots so far but definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Stays Put This arm is worth the extra money, it locks and stays where you want it. The lock lever is comfortable to put pressure on and to release.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect The Large was too heavy for my needs, this one is great. Prefer it over ultralight arms due to the one handed loosening and tightening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excelent very recomended! I had bought other brand magic arms before, to use them with my 10.1 inch monitor and nothing held it steady. This one feels sturdy the moment you grab it and I can now have my monitor mounted onto my rig for handheld or tripod shots and it stays on perfectly. Easy to mount and once tightened it will not move even if you are running with the rig. If you have struggled with magic arms before, save yourself some money and time and get this model. It's the one!
