I see a review claiming it locks onto the Light Blaster. It does not for me, unless they have changed the adapter since I ordered it in May 2016. Also, how does it work with a Canon lens when there is nothing to open the iris?
doesn't lock lens in

the adapter won't lock my lenses in. it seems poorly made and came with one instruction card showing how to take a lens off. the design is seriously lacking. You have to press a little metal that without said card, you'd have never of guessed. I am able to twist a lens into the mount however the blaster but it's there just by gravity. anything bumps the lightstand and it will fall.

Does this have aperture control?
The lens being mounted to the adapter would need to have aperture control on it.

question
It works with Canon 7D?
So sorry that I cannot respond to that question due to the fact that I have been trying to contact B&H to help me with my blaster that I had purchased from them a half a year ago and I have not been able to get it to work. I did purchase everything they told me to purchase and I still haven't yet once been able to get it to work for me. Even though I find the adapter a little difficult to put on the lens to the blaster, the adapter does fit to my Nikon. However does the adapter fit on the Canon, I do not have a clue.
