Been using the Leica m adapter L since I bought the Leica SL 601 11 years ago 5 Leica M Lenses all have their own adapter attached.i don’t like auto focus I only use the M lenses on the SL.11 years ago I walked into the Leica store and wanted to buy the rangefinder 240 but I didn’t like that the 35 mm m lenses blocked the lower right corner of the viewfinder the salesman said we just got in a new Leica SL 601.i told him I didn’t like the size of the SL lenses I don’t like auto focus then he said I could use M lenses on the SL.and it would be manual focus once I looked through that EVF i was blown away how sharp and bright that viewfinder was and it reminded me of looking through my first SLR Nikon F in 1970.i never heard of the SL went home and did my research and found out how the rangefinder cameras get out of calibration and then the focus is off and then you have send the camera in to recalibration.so I bought the SL and only use M lenses.all I do is shoot street and it’s a great setup last 5 years been using the Leica SL2-S with M lenses.love that Leica M-L Adapter.
