I got 2 of these for a quick group photo and they worked great. I needed even lighting and lightweight portability and this is it. Only thing I didn't do was get the adapters, which I should have. There's not a lot of room for the flash unit depending on what kind of flash/softbox holder you have. I recommend buying theirs.

The Impact Parabox Softbox (24 x 36") is not compatible with a Norman LH500 lamp head. The head is too large.

question
I see that it can take a cover grid, but that size is 24' x 32' is the only that is sold. Will there a 24' x 36' be sold as well?
The softbox is not designed to take a grid. There are grids made by other companies 24x36 but it will not fit. You can try to attach it but you will need to rig it.

Could you put a Paul C Buff Einstein inside this, ...
Could you put a Paul C Buff Einstein inside this, if you had the right mounting equipment? Or would that generate too much heat?
You could use a PCB Einstein inside the Impact Parabox Softbox (24 x 36") BH #IMPBSB2436.

question
Does the fact that the flash's slave sensor or a remote slave would be obscured by the front diffuser cause any problems with reception, output, etc?
Works great for me. I am using it with canon flash via IR trigger and did not find any problem.
