Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I had bought these long ago These PC sync cables are one of the absolute best investments I've ever made in all of the photo equipment I've ever purchased. I use pocketwizards to fire my 580EX II strobes, and - up until now - I was using the supplied PC cables that they came with to connect the PW to my flash. The problem, however, was that the end of the PC cable which connects to the flash would constantly become loose, therefore, when I'd go to take an image, the flash wouldn't fire, since it was not receiving a signal from the pocketwizard (do to the loose cable). These locking cables fix that problem. Now my flash fires every single time. No more missed shots. I wish I had bought these years ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the answer to misfiring pocket wizards Only used at one event so far (thus the 4 stars) but they apear to be the answer to my mis-fires with my pocket wizards and 580exII flashes. Had many issues with the cables coming loose or just turning in the socket causing flashes not to fire. Used this cable on Saturday and the flash fired consistently all night (except when the batteries were due to be replaced in the system.) Only thing I don't love is that the chord is a little long but it is a minor issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid reliable connection. This cable solves the problem of loose PC connections causing misfires with remote flashes. I use it to connect Nikon SB900's to a remote trigger. The screw connection works like a charm and is reliable with this cable. The cord is a nice heavy weigh construction built for durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Correct cord for Canon 580EX II Bought this cord to use with my Canon 580EX II because it was recommended that my radio trigger will work better (be more secure) with this screw type cord. Fits perfectly. No issues. Works with CyberSync CSRB as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have product in your gear I was using a regular sync cord to connect my pocket wizard to my sb900. I was never sure when the flash would fire... I had to put tape on the sync cord to keep it from falling off. With this cord, there are no more missed flashes. The screw lock connects to the flash and does not come off... wonderful. If you are using a cord without a screw-Lock, then you should absolutely get this cord... you will not regret it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This little cable made a huge difference The PC-5N cable enabled me to use my Nikon SB 900 speed-light with a mini soft box on location shoots where there was no access to power...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have for SB-900 Like many others, I've struggled using my PocketWizard Plus IIs with my SB-900 speed lights because the standard cords don't create a reliable connection, so I normally use an SB-800 with them. With this cord, the fit is tight and the screw-in connection ensures a lasting fit. If you're going to use the PW Plus II with an SB-900, go ahead an order one because you eventually will anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I finally ordered these cables after many months of frustration with the standard miniphone to PC cable that comes with PocketWizards. Honestly I LOVE these cables. No more miss-fires, no more frustration, just a rock-solid connection 100% of the time. These cables are perhaps a tad pricey but they are very well constructed and they do their job perfectly. Even though the description says Nikon, I use them exclusively with Canon 580EX II flash. Highly recommended if you are having any trouble with the standard cable.
