The Classic Softie Camera Kit (4.7" Long, 0.7 to 0.9" Diameter) from Rycote is an all-in-one suspension and windshield kit for outside filming and audio recording using a shotgun microphone. It is designed for shotgun mics with slots no further than 4.7" (12cm) from the front of the mic, and a 0.75 to 0.9" (19 to 25mm) diameter.

I am looking for a wind shield for the new Deity V-Mic D4, which includes foam & fuzz screen, but is inadequate, will this work?
The Deity Microphones V-Mic D4 Hybrid Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone has a diameter of 0.8" (21mm) and it is 6.4" (161.5mm) long. The Rycote 033014 Standard Hole Classic Softie Wind-Screen is the correct diameter, but the inside depth may not be deep enough at 2.7". You may be better off with the Rycote Standard Hole Classic Softie Wind-Screen (BH #RYS10M) which has an inside depth of 3.9".
