This ProMediaGear C60 Arca-Type Compatible Quick Release Clamp can be used to adapt an Arca-type quick release plate to a tripod head, tripod, stand, or support device. A steel bushing is installed within the center of the clamp so that it can be adapted to a 1/4"-20 mount. Additionally, the bushing can be removed, allowing direct attachment to tripod heads that utilize an M6 countersunk screw to mount a quick release clamp.

Is the center bushing 3/8" male to 1/4" female, an
Is the center bushing 3/8" male to 1/4" female, and is it included? The copy says no; the photo says yes.
The bushing included with the ProMediaGear C60 Arca-Type Compatible Quick Release Clamp is M6 male to 1/4" female. To use it with a 3/8" screw, you will need the ProMediaGear 3/8" Insert for Clamps C40 and C60 (BH #PR3816TIPC).

Will this clamp screw right on to the stem of a 488rc2? Will the oem manfrotto clamp screw off the stem?
I haven't done this exact model but others in the Manfrotto RC2 family work well. The C60 clamp should easily convert down onto the Manfrotto stem. You will need to remove in some cases our clamp insert to allow the stem screw to sit flush. You will also require our Manfrotto anti-rotation guide pins to keep the clamp from spinning. The bottom of the C60 has female holes to allow guide pins to sit inside. The Manfrotto stem should, and needs to, feature a flat top with female guide pins to work correctly.

can i use this product on a Vanguard SBH-100?
We have not retrofitted the C60 with the SBH-100 before but it may work for a full conversion.The C60 may get attached to the top of the SBH-100 Camera Plate and stacked to create an Arca Compatible Clamp onto the top of the SBH-100 Head.
