The Remote Transmitter from Bolt is an advanced 16-channel, 16-group radio triggering device that can fire your compatible remote flash at sync speeds up to 1/250 sec. at distances up to 150' as well as control its power level.

Compatible with the Bolt VB-11 and VB-22 flash heads, the 433 MHz transmitter can raise and lower the power of the slave flash in 1/10 or 1/3-stop increments as well as turn modeling lights and audio alerts on and off. It's also capable of turning the AF assist on or off on flash units that have this feature. It is also compatible with Interfit Strobies flash heads. The transmitter runs on 2 AA batteries and works with the separately-purchased RR-16-A receiver which is powered by the host slave flash. The transmitter can also be used as a handheld central remote controller to adjust the settings on the lights mentioned above, even if you use a different device or method to trigger them.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient, with one drawback The unit is simple to use, easy to see and works exactly as you would hope. The only drawback is the Group Selector knob. The feel on the knob is too soft - it's too easy to knock the dial to a new group unintentionally. Would love it if there was a more solid click between groups. It's also a little odd to use dip switches to set the channel. Great that there are 16 channels, but moving between them is cumbersome. Too hard to select a channel, too easy to change the group!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice transmitter This transmitter is pretty nice, and a must for the Bolt USB flashes. It will not shoot HSS unless used with a tranmiter that has that feature. Normal camera sync speeds it performs very well. All in all very well built and seems to work as advertised.
