question

Can the transmitter accept a line level signal out of a mixer?
Asked by: Eric
I've never done it, but the transmitter can be used with a musical instrument plugged into it, so I would imagine a line level input would work if you can find the correct cable to plug into it. B&H customer service should be able to answer more specifically.

Can I use the AT 803 mic with this unit?

Can I use the AT 803 mic with this unit?
Asked by: David
The Audio-Technica At 803 lavalier microphone will not connect to this wireless system. I would recommend the Audio-Technica AT899CW - Sub-Miniature Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, BH #AUAT899CW, which is a high quality miniature condenser clip-on microphone that has the appropriate locking 4-pin connector.

question

So what you're saying is the receiver has an internal battery that will need to be recharged? So it's useless until charged? Is the Li-ion battery replaceable on the receiver? Please say it is.
Asked by: Robert B.
This transmitter runs on 2x 1.5 V AA (not included). Standard alkaline or rechargeable AA cells may be used. The receiver portion includes a 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery that must be charged prior to use. it is not user replaceable.

question

does the Lav Mic come with a windscreen?
Asked by: Ryan M.
There actually is no microphone with this system - it must be purchased separately. This is just the transmitter and receiver. I purchased the AT898cW lav mic, and it comes with a windscreen.
