The Nikon MH-26aAK Adapter Kit includes a BT-A10 adapter and an MH-26a dual battery charger. The MH-26a charges and calibrates the EN-EL18, EN-EL18a, and EN-EL18b Li-Ion batteries for the D4 and D4S cameras, and MB-D12 battery pack. The adapter attaches to one of the slots on the MH-26a and charges the EN-EL4 and EN-EL4a Li-Ion batteries for the D3 series cameras, and the MB-10 and MB-40 battery packs.

Yes, it is expensive. But we all know that ahead of time before we order. There are less expensive ones on the market, but no better. One of the nicest features of this charger is that it knows when your battery needs calibration, the light above the calibration green button lights up, you just push calibration button and the charger takes care of the rest. Second, I like the fact that you can see how much time is left until a full charge and what percentage it is at at any time during the charge cycle. Third, if your charging two batteries, it will charge one, then the other, in case you've got to get a shot, you don't have to wait,grab the fully charged battery while the other one is charging. Forth, the Kit comes with a cord, bay covers, everything you need, and an adapter for the EN-EL4 and EN-EL4a batteries for my Nikon D3s. Very nice Nikon. Now I can use the same charger for both camera's.
Ridiculously overpriced from Nikon, this charger is required for EN-EL18 batteries and will charge EN-EL4 with the included adapter but will not charge the EN-EL15? Really? D!ck move Nikon
I have several battery chargers—including one that charges the battery for my car! And for the life of me, I cant figure out why Nikon is charging this ridiculous price for their battery charger. It works, though, and does its job. No different than any other charger.
While this unit “from” Nikon does what it is supposed to do it is three times overpriced and limited in its what batteries it can recharge and recalibrate. As a D850 owner it would be really nice if there was an adapter that would allow those functions to be performed with the basic D850 battery as well as the other batteries that this unit was designed for. If I want to have and use the MB-D18 at maximum capability and maintain the warranty I have to purchase this overpriced unit which will not recharge the D850 battery. Come on Nikon, at least give us an adapter that will charge the basic D850 battery and include it with this unit.
It works just like the original that comes with the Nikon D5. It has the quirk that it does not appear to ship (at least from B&H) with a U.S. plug, but a European one, so you will need an adapter (B&H supplied me one for free).

It works....for now....but so did the original MH-26 that came with my D4s. It's hard to believe that something without moving parts can go bad unless it was physically abused. Nikon should replace these for free...
