IndiPRO Tools Battery Buddy (38")

The IndiPRO Tools Battery Buddy allows you to power a light or other device from a D-tap battery, to alternate between batteries or to get power from two batteries at the same time.

The Battery Buddy features a male D-tap connector on one end for connecting into a battery, and on the other end has one female D-Tap for plugging into your device, such as a on-camera light, as well as another male D-tap for connecting to a second battery. In between these two ends is a voltage reader with a 3" LCD screen. When the voltage reader specifies that one battery is running low, you can plug in a second battery and dump the first. You can also have two batteries plugged in at the same time and hot-swap batteries to maintain power throughout the production.

When two batteries are connected, the Battery Buddy will draw from both simultaneously once their voltage levels match up to equal. It'll draw from the highest rated one until then. The Battery Buddy runs 38" long, thus serving also as an extension cable.
