question

The slide plate on the bottom of this adaptor is, indeed, metal. . .not plastic at all. . .(dave/Austin). . .

question

Does the hot shoe adapter detach so that it can be screwed into a bracket, like for a steadicam like the varavon birdycam?
Asked by: JEREMY D.
The hot shoe is attached with a set screw so removing it is not easy. I would say no as it does not come apart easily.
