Ubiquiti POE-24-24W Reviews
Incompatible with ER-X

I bought this to power an ER-X via passive PoE. It’s not compatible because it provides 24v on all 4 pairs of leads in E-net cable rather than 2 of 4 pairs which is the usual configuration. Ubiquiti doesn’t publish this info except in a footnote in the ER-X installation guide. It would cost at least 1/3 - 1/2 the price of the adapter in shipping to return it. Thanks for nothin’, Ubiquiti.
Excellent

Superior to what we were looking for at an excellent price.

Can this be used as a stand-alone poe/lan adapter ...
Can this be used as a stand-alone poe/lan adapter for a poe camera on an existing non-ubiquiti network?
As long as the camera supports 24V POE, however this unit was designed primarily to work with most Ubiquiti products.

question
Does this work with the Unifi AP AC Lite? The instructions say the Lite comes with a 0.5A POE injector, but this one is 1.0A.
Yes it works fine with the Unifi AC Lite.
