Stop stray light from entering your lens with the Sensei PRO 52mm Aluminum Lens Hood, a screw-on type hood that attaches to most lenses with 52mm front filter threads. This hood is compatible with lenses 50mm and longer on full-frame cameras, or 28mm and longer on cameras with APS-C sensors. The primary purpose of a lens hood is to shield the lens from unwanted stray light by extending and shading its end. Since the hood extends the front end of the lens, it provides the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact. The front opening of the hood features a 58mm filter thread, allowing filters and other accessories to be attached.

Yes, Nica, you'll have no problem using this lens hood with the Hoya filters on your Fujifilm lens. The hood is threaded so it can screw right on. I use Hoya UV filters on all my Canon lenses and they always have pass-through threading so they can accept lens hoods or be stacked in combination.

Sensei PRO 49mm Aluminum Lens Hood can cast a shadow depending on how close the lens will be from the subject being photographed, but there is no vignetting.

The Sensei PRO 52mm Aluminum Lens Hood will fit but has yet to be tested on the Nikon NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 Lens. The Vello LHN-HN52 Dedicated Lens Hood (52mm Screw-On), BH #VELHNHN52, is a better option.
