Take advantage of discrete graphics in your PC with the ASUS GeForce GT 720. Discrete graphics cards take the graphics processing load from the CPU and RAM, increasing computer speed and graphics performance. The GeForce GT 720 features 2GB of DDR3 vRAM and a 797 MHz GPU core for graphics processing, allowing you to drive displays with a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600. Output options on the card include VGA, HDMI, and DVI-D to connect with both analog and digital monitors. All three outputs can be used simultaneously for multiple-display setups.
Included with the EVGA GT 720 is an adapter bracket allowing the card to be used in smaller form factor setups. All three outputs can still be used by moving the VGA output to a second PCI slot. For cooling, the card uses a silent, passive heatsink cooler. This type of cooler works best in computer towers which can maintain a low internal temperature. Because the cooler is silent, this card is useful in places like libraries and schools where noise levels can be a concern.
