Canon IFC-500U II Reviews
Works very well
A long USB cable
Love this long cable. It allows me to shoot teathered to my PC. Photos go directly into Lightroom for immediate large viewing and/or editing.
Worked perfect w my 7d
Remote control of Camera
This cable permits me to use the Canon software to control the Canon camera form inside my car. It does not matter how cold or how many insects are flying about. I have complete control of the caners jut not the zoom feature of the lens, but all exposure, aperture and many other camera feature, including interferometer. Image is then displayed right on my laptop screen from the comfort of my car. Great for night star pictures of prolonged photography situations. Full recommend this product. All camera equipment bodies and lenses are Canon equipment
interface cable for 7D mark II
Attached to camera and Lap top and it functions very well. Next comes the field test which is on hold for a week, then off to the woods and mountians for the big test of which I am sure it will perform well.
Does What's Needed
Shooting tethered with this cable is almost a normal experience. The tether clip provided with the 5D IV makes using any kind of cable a bit tedious, but once clipped in a attached all functions (data transmission, camera setup, etc.) work perfectly. One detail: This cable, combined with the 5D IV and the RRS L-plate prevents the use of the tether clip.
Replacement cable for my 7DM2.
Enables me to keep spare cables in multiple bags.
Works great on the 5DS-R
I didn't have the cable that came with the camera so I bought this and it works just fine.
