Yes, the Canon IFC-500U II would be compatible for use with the Canon EOS 1D X Mark II DSLR camera. Do note that, as indicated on page 485 of the camera's instruction manual, with the IFC-500U II, the communication speed will be equivalent to Hi-Speed USB (USB 2.0).
