question
Hi, is Nikon d750 compatible with Nikon pc-e 24mm 3.5D lens?I have almost ordered the lens, but fortunately I have read lots of comments on the issue of tilt knob touchnig built-in flash. Is there any way you could inspect this? I should say that there is a warning on Nikon web page stating customers should replace top knob with smaller one. In addition to the original question, can you replace the knob for smaller one? Thank you, Alen.
The D750 is compatible with the PC-E 24mm f/3.5 lens. The knob cannot be replaced.

Due to several years as caregiver to a couple ...
Due to several years as caregiver to a couple family members, I have been away from photography for some time. Started with an FE in the 80's moved to a digital in early 2004 in a D70s. Only got to it occasionally, but now I am hoping to get back to it and am thinking of moving up to the D750.
I am reading about the differences in DX and FX lenses. I understand most of what I have read but wonder if my older AF Nikkor F-mount lenses would work, and if so, would they have the DX on FX view or is it just the DX specific?
These lenses are AF and F mount Nikkor. (only the first is a DX)
18-70mm 1:3.5-4.5 G ED DX
18-35mm 1:3.5-4.5 D ED
70-300mm 1:4.5-5.6 D ED
I also have a couple AF, F-mount Sigma lenses too.
I guess what I need to know is; if my lenses will work with a D750, and if so, like normal or with the 1.5x factor? Or do I need to buy all new full frame lenses? I am sure they are better and as I get back into it I will likely buy more (and full frame lenses) when I do. Just want to know about using what I have for now. Hope that makes sense. All comments welcome....
Thank you in advance for your time.
the 18-70mm is not a full frame lens the other are

question
Can anyone help explain their solutions on dealing with AE-Lock? I am used to the D700 having the AF-ON button next to the AE/AFL button. I'm having issues when using Back button focusing, and then recomposing. The Camera will adjust exposure and cause the subject to not be exposed properly. Any suggestions that you have will be greatly appreciated! Overall, I'd like to be able to Lock exposure and focus, then recompose from the back of the camera. Is this possible? What solution have you found that works best for this approach?Much thanks!!!
Doing back button focus and then composing will not normally affect exposure. Check to see if your spot metering is on. If so, go to matrix and you should not have issues. If you continue to have exposure issues, I suggest then you use the shutter half-press to meter and focus then use the AE-L and AF-L button to lock both the exposure and the focus.

question
Is Nikon D750 wi-fi compatible with MyPassport Wireless hard drive?
No, it cannot. According to Nikon, the Nikon D750 DSLR camera requires the use of Nikon's SnapBridge App, which only connects via Wi-FI to a smart device - phone or tablet running the SnapBridge app. You can't connect to a computer, router, or wireless hard drive such as the Western Digital MyPassport Wireless Hard Drive.
