Ilford's Delta 100 Professional is a medium-speed black and white negative film featuring core-shell crystal technology in order to produce extremely sharp results with a fine, uniform grain structure. It has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 100/21° when developed in standard black and white chemistry, but its wide exposure latitude permits rating the film between EI 50 and EI 200 with maintained results. This versatile film is especially well-suited for fine art and pictorial use, as well as general applications requiring high edge sharpness and unobtrusive grain.

This item is one box of 25 sheets of 4 x 5" film.

Delta 100 Professional Black and White Negative Film (4 x 5", 25 Sheets) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best B&W 4x5 film around! This film produces great tonal range, sharpness and is very consistent. It works well in the studio and in the field. It's low ISO provides fine detail and allows for amazing enlargements and produces great range even in low light situations (as long as you have the time & patience). This is the only film I use when I want to make digital negatives. It has fine quality, retains subtleties and scans really well! I've had nothing but good experiences with this film in both traditional and digital uses. This film can't be beaten for those who have the patience and still wish to use film.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta 100 + Large Format I love Ilford's Delta 100 and have used it often in 120 and 35mm. Seeing my first results on a 4x5 negative was an amazing experience. The sharpness and tonal range is superb and it offers good exposure flexibility even shooting outdoors under less-than-perfect lighting condition. I've used other sheet film in the same ISO range (100/125) But I will make Delta 100 my exclusive go-to for black & white. With the 4x5's inherent advantages for enlargement and Delta 100's almost complete lack of grain, finally print size is limited only by your lab or darkroom - not any loss of clarity on the part of the film.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous film, with perks It takes some getting used to. I always shoot it at EI 100. It has all the tonal range you need right there. It always requires underdevelopment though, anywhere from 8% -15%. The highlights blow out very easily, and this helps control them. Scratches easily, a bit softer than HP5. The lack of grain looks phenomenal at a large scale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply superb B&W film! I've found the Delta-100 by Ilford to be a very high-quality, reliable film. Using even the cheapest D76 chemicals I can find, I still get fantastic results over and over again. The tonal range and exposure latitude are excellent and make for a versatile film which is at home in the studio or out in the field. The grain is also very fine which helps make your enlargements look tack-sharp and smooth. I've also had very good results scanning this film and it has become my favorite B&W film for just about everything. Great value!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best films for Fine Art This is one of the best films I've used in a long time. The latitude of this film is amazing. Coupled with Ilfosol 3 developer you get negatives that produce beautiful blacks and crisp highlights. I've been a big fan of Ilford film for over 20 years and am very pleased to see this film still available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite B&W film As close to the perfect film as you can get: sharp, fine-grained, can be pushed or pulled, works well with staining developers, does not scratch easily, equally good for classical enlargements, alternative printing and scanning. What else can one possibly expect from a film?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Change is good I am use to using the Kodak Tmax 100 but I decided to try out the Ilford. Although the ridges are different and kinda threw me off at first, I love the print quality of the negatives. The negatives seem to be a bit thiner than the Kodak but expose quiet well.
