Ilford's Delta 100 Professional is a medium-speed black and white negative film featuring core-shell crystal technology in order to produce extremely sharp results with a fine, uniform grain structure. It has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 100/21° when developed in standard black and white chemistry, but its wide exposure latitude permits rating the film between EI 50 and EI 200 with maintained results. This versatile film is especially well-suited for fine art and pictorial use, as well as general applications requiring high edge sharpness and unobtrusive grain.

This item is one box of 25 sheets of 8 x 10" film.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go-to 8x10 film for architecture and some portraits This is my go-to film for all my architecture and some of my portrait shoots. I love the sharpness and malleability of this film with modern developers, such as D-76, Xtol and HC 110. It has a reasonable dynamic range, good contrast and acutance (especially with D-76 1:1) and low grain, which is the reason I like it for buildings and more formal portraits. For portraits it is a compromise of cost and performance. Like all ILFORD films, it is manufactured well, so never had an issue with quality control.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Darn Good I should preface this review by saying that I'm definitely not an expert with large format film or even view cameras in general, but as an both an experimental tool and final print film this impressed me. It has a very similar character to Ilford's Delta-100 roll films as well as the Pan-F, which most will be familiar with. Obviously if you like these films and are looking to do some large format work, this would be a great choice. The tonal range is spectacular. Another plus is it seems fairly scratch resistant, which is especially handy to those of us who are learning loading, processing, etc. Still, definitely get a development tank if you don't have one to be on the safe side. Overall, this stuff is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like the 4x5 version, only bigger Delta is already a fine grain film, but with the 8x10 format it is almost nonexistent. The 8x10 flavor of Delta is just like the 4x5 version, just bigger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My B&W film of choice Retired now, shooting for fun, mostly. When I returned to B&W I had to start over due to all the improvement/changes made with film. After sever trials, this is my choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ilford Delta 100 professional film 8x10. Delta Pro is by far the best film I have ever used. It produces a sharp negative, and has surprising lattitude for slow film.
