question

Does the scanner work for scanning photos?
Asked by: Anonymous
I apologize for the delay in answering. The question came while I was on vacation from my office, and I was not able to give an answer. My assistant and I have now copied a photo to try it out. The photo copied very nicely. The scanner is a very handy little piece of equipment.

How is the scan quality for documents, when compared to a flat bed scanner? I ask since I mainly need to scan documents and print them, and the scanned print must be very good. how do the other brands compare? (brother, epson)
Asked by: Umesh
ScanSnap hardware and software are by far the best! Scan quality can be adjusted with the software. Software is loaded with scanning, saving and editing options. Don't bother spending $ on the other scanners.

Will this scan hard id cards such as a drivers license?
Asked by: Jason
Yes, as long as they are not embossed, and you do not flip up the rear paper guide so the paper path is flat.

question

when scanner is solid light, works fine. Sometimes, power light is blinking why does it not allow scanning?
Asked by: Shannon M.
I've never seen the battery light flash blue. The big lighted button on top for scan/stop will flash blue. Maybe uninstall and re-install with the CD Rom and also the ScanSnap app from the playstore and start over?? Other than that, try the support at Fujitsu dot com. I'm sorry I wasn't able to solve - I'm just a user, I love the scanner though!
