    Benro VT2 reviews

3-Leg Locking Base For Monopods is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for added stability I bought this to attach to my Benro Aero2 Travel Angel Tripod (A1883FS2C) when it is converted into a monopod, and I was able to do that which some slight modification. I purchased a 3/8 threaded coupling for about 3 bucks, which allows me to screw the feet into one side and the threaded spiked feet of the monopod leg into the other side. Works like a charm, but I did have to pop off the washer that prevents the rubber foot from unscrewing all the way off. Totally worth it for an all-in-one tripod / video monopod that is ultra portable for travel!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Concept is better than in actual use (no matter what brand) In short, in actual use it's disappointing and leaves me questioning the purchase. It may go back. It's a great product concept, but I'm glad I didn't spend 3-4x for a similar item from a better known mfr. This is well-made IMO, sturdy, does the job, but the limitations of forward/backward motion range vs. using the original monopod foot negate the benefits. Although it's probably fine, I'm not comfortable leaving my camera on it and walking a few feet away to make an adjustment to the scene, in that it might fall over. That's just an observation, not a criticism (it's not designed for that purpose).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Locking Base I have the Manfrotto 682B Monopod it came with a base system with 3 legs that folded into the bottom of the monopod making the monopod heavy and loud rattling..I removed the end cap and removed the screw that holds the legs into the end cap.. Then drilled a 5/16 hole and threaded the hole with a 3/816 UNC tape And know I use the monopod with the Benro 3-Leg Locking Base ... And it works much better making the monopod much liter with no rattling...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Build Quality, Fits Gitzo Monopod Perfectly After reading another reviewer's comments on using the Benro 3-Leg on a Gitzo monopod, I bought one. This fits perfectly and is very sturdy. Also, the ball lock downs are secure and work very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great little deal! Through my years in photography, I somehow ended up with three monopods. With my new and ever increasing interest in DSLR video, I've been looking for a three-legged base to attach to any one of my monopods. Two of them, Manfrotto and Miller, have fixed tip and I was not able to remove them to attach anything to them. But lucky for me, my Really Right Stuff monopod has a removable tip which this base screws right into it, via the 3/8-16 threaded screw, making it suitable for video production. Saved me the cost of buying a new monopod, as the Miller rep. was hoping for. I also have the Benro S4 Fluid head which I use with my monopod. I like the setup, although I wish the base was lighter than it is. The folding up of the legs is really clever and a joy to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT LEGS FOR ALL PURPOSES. SEE PHOTOS #1. I purchased the Sirui P-3245 monopod ? for one reason only. That was to be able to utilize the LEG's system, I wanted a table top tripod system (see photo) and I wanted to have a ground tripod set up as well. Also a table top tripod to use in the studio with the macro system, I put together using it in conjunction with RRS Equipment for the upper part of the set up. #2.This should get us back as to why I purchased the BENRO leg system ? Well now I have a really great Sirui carbon fiber mono pod with no legs, witch is way I bought the Sirui in the first place. (the legs system) #3. Checking B&H, alongs comes the BENRO legs.(can I use the BENRO legs on the Sirui mono-pod.? The answer is YES and NO. The Benro legs WILL NOT screw on to the bottom of the Sirui monopod without some mechanical work on your part. I then used a 5/16 drill to open up the hole in the bottom hole in the base, Then I threaded the hole with a 3/8 16 UNC tape. Now the Sirui has brand new feet, Thanks to Benro. #4. I also bought a second set of Benro legs to go on my other GITZO mono pod. The BENRO feet attached to the Gitzo by just removing the base cap from the Gitzo and screwing the BENRO legs right in,YEA. I have attached a photo of all three set ups. I just wanted to illustrate all of the different options that you can do with these feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact and light It is compact ,light and not expensive. It does help to improve 1/2 to 2 stops, depends on the focal length ,weight and the distance but it can't replace a tripod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Asset for Monopods This locking base adds the extra support I needed when using my Nikon d610 and 70-200mm lens combo. The legs lock into position and can be adjusted to support up to 5kg (11lbs). It's compact and discreet closure system is perfect for attaching to a carrying bag while on the move. The 3/8 female thread fits almost every monopod currently on the market.
