Spektrum DX6 6-Channel DSMX Transmitter for RC Aircraft
Key Features
  • 2.4 GHz DSM2/DSMX 6-Channel Radio
  • For DSM2 / DSMX Receivers
  • Airplane, Heli and Sailplane Programming
  • Built-In 250 Slot Model Memory
The Spektrum DX6 6-Channel DSMX Transmitter is a radio controller designed primarily for RC aircraft - including helis, airplanes, and sailplanes. It can also be used to operate some terrestrial RC vehicles as well as certain 2- and 3-axis gimbal stabilizers for video cameras. The transmitter supports control Modes 1 through 4 - Mode 2 is the most widely used in the U.S., and puts the throttle on the left. It features memory spaces for 250 models, plus there is an SD card slot for increasing memory capacity, transferring settings from other transmitters or a computer, and updating the firmware (card available separately). A wireless trainer link allows the DX6 to be bound with a second transmitter so that an instructor can quickly take over when necessary during a class. The transmitter is DSMX/DSMX-compatible, and uses a 2.4 GHz band radio.

Spektrum DX6 Overview

Four AA batteries are included, or you can use a rechargeable battery pack (available separately) to power the transmitter.

Programmable Voice Alerts
With voice alerts, the DX6 will allow you to keep tabs on important functions without ever taking your eyes off the aircraft. They can be programmed to call out what flight mode you're in, or report telemetry information - such as remaining battery power - on demand
Airplane, Helicopter, and Sailplane Programming
In addition to its extensive airplane and heli programming, the DX6 includes number of programming features for sailplanes as well. These include, five available flight modes, four wing types, three tail types, a flap-to-elevator curve mix, and more. The SimpleScroll programming interface helps make accessing and changing programming settings fast and intuitive
Wireless Trainer Link
The wireless trainer link gives instructors the option to wirelessly "buddy box" with another DSM2/DSMX transmitter. Once bound to another transmitter, ModelMatch technology will allow the DX6 to re-link without having to go through the bind process again
250 Model Memory
Save settings for up to 250 models within the DX6 - and if you ever run out of space or need to import settings from elsewhere, you can use an SD memory card (available separately). Navigation has been simplified to make settings easier to find - only memory slots with model settings saved to them will appear. You won't have to scroll through empty slots or move models around if one is deleted
Built-In Telemetry with Voice Alerts
The DX6 is equipped with a built-in telemetry feature that gives you real-time information on flight parameters including your aircraft's battery voltage, signal quality, engine or motor temperature, airspeed, altitude, and more

Using the voice alert system, you can program the DX6 to tell you when specific telemetry values reach or exceed limits you define. You can also have it call out a sequence of telemetry values on demand with the flip of a switch. If you want to review telemetry after a flight, the DX6 can be set up to record the data to an SD card (available separately)
