The Replacement Battery Cartridge #124 from APC replaces the battery in your UPS that restores the performance to the original specifications. The battery cartridge is designed for UPS models BR1200G-FR, BR1200GI, BR1300G, BR1500G, BR1500G-FR, BR1500GI, BX1500G, SMC1000-2U, SMC1000I-2U. Since the UPS models are hot-swappable, no network downtime is required to install them. Moreover, the RBC battery provides a 3 to 5 year expected battery life. Included along with the battery are the required connectors.

Can I use this as a direct replacement for rbc123? It seems only that I may get about 28.5% extra time/capacity as 9ah vs 7ah.
This is a direct fit for the unit and replaces RBC123 directly. Time remaining will look shorter than actual if the unit is designed for the lower capacity unit, but time is extended. I replaced the unit long after warranty expired so was not an issue for me.
