The SHAPE F7S Bundle Rig is a starter rig for the Sony FS7 that directly supports the optional Sony Zoom Control via a rosette adapter. It also features a V-Lock delta adapter allowing compatibility with V-Lock tripod adapters, such as the Sony VCT-14 and Panasonic SHAN-TM700. It's also adjustable for matte boxes and supports offset camera mounting brackets. The bundle includes the SHAPE 8000 V-Lock Quick Release Baseplate, multi-adjustable telescopic handle, and front and rear 15mm rods.

I am using the FS7m2 with the 18-105mm zoom in front, and the small inboard batteries in back, so there is a lot of weight forward. I would like the camera to balance on my shoulder. Of all the shoulder/tripod rigs, which one will allow you to move the shoulder plate the farthest forward?
The rigs that are specifically designed to do what you ask are the ones made by Zacuto marketed as the recoil. It will get the camera back so that you have balance. I was at the 2015 NAB Show, and I'm almost certain I saw one of these with a Canon C100 Mark II mounted on it. Is that possible? Is there an additional plate needed for that? I don't remember seeing one, but just wanted to make sure before I pursued purchasing one of these.
I'm only familiar with it in the fs7.

Is there a recommended tripod plate that will pair up with this nicely?
Hello Brent, SHAPE Bundle rig can fit into many Quick Release tripod adapters. You can buy for exemple the Panasonic TM700 which we sell with SHAPE BP8000 Baseplate but that will fit with the SHAPE FS7 Baseplate without nicely.
