The Impact Soft n' Natural Kit #4 by B&H is a 3-light, comprehensive kit, created to be a lighting solution for virtually any kind of imaging-making be it e-commerce, portraiture, fashion, product or large groups.
The kit contains two 24" Octa softboxes with 4-socket fixtures and 8' air-cushioned light stands and a 20 x 27.5" rectangular softbox with a 4-socket fixture and a 6' light stand. Twelve 26W spiral fluorescent lamps with a daylight color balance of 5000K are included for the fixtures.

Is this kit good for vedio or stills only?
It works for both! Any of the lights in the continuous lighting category will give you constant light while they are on, unlike flashes or strobes which only go off with your shutter.

Can you attach larger soft boxes to the light head. Like a 36 octogan.
Matthew, I don't think you can. The holes in the light head match the light box that it comes with. I have not tried it but probably would not work.

Is it possible to purchase this kit with 240v lamps?
Unfortunately, no, it is not. The Impact Impact Soft n' Natural Kit #4 only comes with the twelve (12)x Eiko - SP27/50K Spiral Fluorescent Lamps (26W/120V). We do not have a kit that includes 240V bulbs. You may purchase the Lowel 25 Watt Ego Fluorescent Bulb (220-240V AC), B&H # LOLE127E, but we do not have a kit that would include the bulbs.

I received this kit today in Australia. When I switch on the light, it was short-circuit. As I know, the voltage in Australia is 240V which is match with the voltage of this light. Can you tell me why this happened? How can I fix this problem?
While the Impact Soft n' Natural Kit #4 is compatible for use with 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, as we are located in the United States, the 12 x Eiko - SP27/50K Spiral Fluorescent Lamp (26W/120V) listed as included under the In The Box tab on our website are designed for use on 120V circuitry. When purchasing lighting equipment for use internationally, you have to ensure that both the fixture and the bulbs are compatible for use on the voltage used in your country. While we do not have a specific Impact Soft n' Natural Kit #4 that includes 220-240V bulbs, you may either purchase the Lowel 25 Watt Ego Fluorescent Bulb (220-240V AC), B&H # LOLE127E (which are the only 220-240V spiral fluorescent bulbs of this wattage which we carry), or you may look for similar options locally in your country.

I have a DSLR camera. What other accessories would I need to buy to connect the lights in a studio lighting kit to my camera (to bridge the gap between camera and lighting equipment)?
These lights are actually on/off fixtures as opposed to flashes, and therefore wouldn't need any additional equipment to work with a DSLR.. What you're talking about is called a strobe, or flash, which takes a sync cable, wireless connection, or some other interface with your camera in order to work. I hope that helps!

Are these dimmable lights?
Sort of 2 switches on the head allow you to have 2 or 4 bulbs on at a time. Other than that, you can just control the light by placement or different modifiers.
