Widen the perspective of your wide-angle lens even further with the Sony VCL-ECF2 Fisheye Converter. This conversion lens is for the Sony SEL16F28 16mm f/2.8 and SEL20F28 20mm f/2.8 E-mount lenses. The 16mm f/2.8 Alpha E-mount lens has a 35mm equivalent length of 24mm which becomes 15mm when used with the VCL-ECF2, and the 20mm f/2.8 lens goes from a 35mm equivalent of 30mm to 20mm. It is constructed of 4 elements in 4 groups. Front and rear lens caps and a carrying case are included to help protect the lens.

Can the shade over the front of the lens be ...
Can the shade over the front of the lens be removed? Or is there one without the shade. I have a shade ring to mount on the lens inside my underwater housing to prevent reflections from the flash. This cannot be applied with the shade on the front of the lens.
The shade is not removable. I'm not aware of a version without the shade.

Version two is different. It can be used on an SEL16F28 and a SEL20F28 lens. Version one works only on the SEL16F28 lens.

The two lenses snap together, so no filter can be between the two parts.
