The Gold Mount Hot Swap/Shark Fin Battery Plate from Core SWX enables you to power your camera or another device continuously using two Gold mount batteries. The "shark fin" design mounts two batteries side by side, enabling you to remove a depleted battery while leaving the remaining battery connected, resulting in no camera downtime. This plate incorporates one D-Tap output port for powering an accessory.

will this mount work and communicate with Anton Bauer batteries?
Some customers have reported that the Core SWX Gold Mount Hot Swap/Shark Fin Battery Plate does work with Anton Bauer batteries, so we believe they are compatible.

Is the dual battery plate centered horizontally?
Yes. The only issue I had was it was a little loose at the Gold Mount connection. Built up some gaff tape between the two pieces and it works great.
