The IndiPRO Tools 24" 2.5mm DC Barrel to Mini USB 5 VDC Power Regulated Cable provides peace of mind when connected to optional select IndiPRO TOOLS POWER POD systems. The cable incorporates a voltage regulator that accepts between 5 and 19 VDC and converts it to 5 VDC compatible with USB power. The cable is 24" long and polarity tested with the optional POWER POD systems, so you don't have to worry about crossed polarity when powering devices.

Unfortunately not, the Zoom F1 uses a mirco usb for external power.

No, you cannot plug this into a USB power source. It is meant to be connected to a 2.5mm power source. You can then plug this to a device that gets it's power via a Mini USB port such as a wireless video transmitter for example.
