IndiPRO Tools P411C Overview

This IndiPRO Tools AC Power Supply with a Dummy Battery lets you conveniently power most cameras that use Canon LP-E6 batteries directly from a wall outlet, allowing for continuous power at an event or in the studio. The power cable runs 8 ft long so you'll have enough length to move around.

On one end this handy power supply features an LP-E6-type dummy battery, and the other end has a standard US power plug. At the same time it supports worldwide 100-240V power input (using optional plug adapters). Some cameras may not be compatible because the battery doors may not support proper dummy battery use.

No joy, no power to Canon 80d camera

Bought this for a Canon 80d but the device is non-functional and feels frightfully cheap. I'm taking it back to be refunded.

Doesn't connect all the time and occasionally drains

I've had it for a couple of months now and use it for live streaming yoga classes several times a week. I disconnect it to shoot now and then and when I plug it back in, it doesn't connect all the time. I have to re-open the battery door and press firmly a couple of times for it to connect. Even after connecting, it shows half a battery and a couple of times it's drained until off. It's a pain to monitor it all the time.

Design not entirely thought out

In the case of my 5D Mark IV the camera doesn't turn on if the battery door is open, and the dummy battery in this kit doesn't have anything built into it to press the door sensor switch. So in this situation unless you are willing to jam\tape some small object into the tiny switch hole yourself then this will be useless.

Works perfectly.

I bought this to use my 80D as a webcam for the Year of Zoom. Works perfectly and no worry about a battery draining while on a call.

Sketchy / No good

We bought these as the next option because the Canon one has been out of stock, I figured because they were more expensive than other alternatives they would be good, but I was wrong. One of them didn't work/broke another was difficult to insert the dummy battery into the camera and we didn't even attempt to use the 3rd one we got.

Works great

This power supply works well with my Canon 6D for studio shooting all day long without worrying about batteries. It should work with any Canon camera that takes a LP-E6 battery. Quality wise, it seems a little light weight, but works great for the price.

The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K comes with a 30W Power Supply with International Adapters in the box. You would not need a product like this. We also have that power supply available as a replacement part. https://bhpho.to/2LgOjXA

Any one using this adapter with a Canon 5dm4 or other canon cameras shooting video? Curious if there is and effect on the audio - like slight AC hum etc. in the background or other issues? Thanks for any replies.
Asked by: Steve
The 5D Mark IV uses an LP-E6 style battery, which is the kind of dummy battery this AC Adapter offers. It should work well with the 5D Mark IV. We are not aware of any issues related to hum when using it.
