IndiPRO Tools PSY62 Overview

This IndiPRO Tools AC Power Supply with a Dummy Battery lets you conveniently power most cameras that use Sony L-Series batteries directly from a wall outlet, allowing for continuous power at an event or in the studio. The power cable runs 8 ft long so you'll have enough length to move around.

On one end this handy power supply features an L-Series-type dummy battery, and the other end has a standard US power plug. At the same time it supports worldwide 100-240V power input (using optional plug adapters). Some cameras may not be compatible because the battery doors may not support proper dummy battery use.

bought this on the recommendation. it's not enough power for the shogun ultra, which is what i bought this for. it doesn't have enough power to keep the monitor from turning off while recording or doing anything. waste of money! I'd give it zero stars if i could

Very cheap build quality, not for pros

I did use this product as power scores to my light, it's getting the job done, but it's a very cheap low-quality plastic material, and I think it will not last for more than 3 ~ 5 jobs, and it's very pricey

The Shogun Flame is powered by Sony L style batteries, so this product may work with it. However it is unnecessary to purchase, the Shogun Flame comes with an AC Adapter already.

Hoping to use the "IndiPRO Tools AC Power Supply" ...

Hoping to use the "IndiPRO Tools AC Power Supply" (BH #INPSY62) with the Aperture AL-F7 LED Camera Light (BH #APALF7). From my experience with the AL-F7 light, batteries tend to produce an awesomely high light output but when powered by USB-C the light output is dramatically reduced. Will the IndiPRO Tools AC Power Supply produce the higher battery like light output on the AL-F7 Lights? It looks good on paper, but I'm hoping someone has actually been able to test it.

I bought the IndiPRO Tools AC Power Supply specifically to power the Amaran AL F7 light for the reason Aaron (the question asker) mentioned. Unfortunately the product does not power the light. I have tested it using both 110v and 240v but nothing!

That is not something we can recommend attempting. The supplied AC Power Supply for the camera really is your best bet.

Yes the IndiPRO Tools AC Power Supply with L-Series Dummy Battery (8 ft), should work well with the Z CAM E2-M4 as a dummy battery power unit, through the camera's battery port.
