Put the world on your wrist with the ASUS ZenWatch Android Wear Smartwatch. This wrist-worn device connects to your Android smartphone or tablet to give you convenient up-to-the minute notifications while tracking your physical activity and heart rate. The metal body of the watch has layers of silver and rose gold colors, framed with a brown leather strap.
The watch sports a 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM, and connects to your mobile device via Bluetooth 4.0. It has a 1.63" 320 x 320 AMOLED touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 3, a microphone, and is dustproof and splashproof. The ZenWatch's built-in battery lasts for approximately 24 hours and can be charged with the included charging cradle, USB to micro-USB cable, and power adapter.
Android Wear
The wearable version of the Android operating system, Android Wear, organizes your information, suggests what you need, and shows it to you before you ask. Just say "OK Google" to initiate voice recognition.
Remote Viewfinder
Display your phone's camera viewfinder on your ZenWatch, where you can compose the photo, release the shutter, and view the final result.
Mute Function
Easily mute an incoming call by placing your hand over the face of your ZenWatch.
Watch Unlock
Quickly unlock your phone or tablet by simply touching your ZenWatch's face.
Find My Phone
If you misplace your mobile device, your ZenWatch can ring it remotely to help you find it. Or, if your ZenWatch has gone missing, a few taps in the ASUS ZenWatch Manager App will make it vibrate and flash.
Presentation Control
When delivering a business presentation or a lecture, Presentation Control lets you easily move between slides, track your progress, and keep an eye on the elapsed time.
Activity Tracking
Tracks and displays a variety of health-related stats, including steps taken, calories burned, heart rate, activity duration, and exercise intensity.
Bio Sensor
Your ZenWatch uses a built-in heart rate tracking biosensor to measure your relaxation level and then provides you with an easy-to-understand relaxation score and advice based on the results.
Activity Goals
To keep active, set goals for yourself, like a target number of steps to take in a day. You can monitor your progress on your ZenWatch or within the Wellness app.
UP Integration
The ZenWatch integrates with Jawbone's UP app, so you can gain access to Jawbone's tracking metrics without the need for a second wearable device.
ZenUI Features
Users with ASUS smartphones can take advantage of ZenWatch-optimized versions of ZenUI apps. What's Next reminds you of important tasks or events, and Do It Later allows you to save tasks for later.
Compatibility
The watch can be used with any smartphone running Android 4.3 and above. It is also compatible with Apple devices running iOS 8.2 and above, however some functionality will be limited.
