Excellent craftsmanship, design, and materials -- much better than expected for the surprisingly low price. Superb Sachtler quality. Installs easily and makes a tremendous improvement for viewing the LCD monitor on the Canon C300mk2. In these photos, I did not attach the included additional plastic hood extension, as the nylon fabric walls were more than sufficient.

Looks like a well made hood. The Sachtler Mini Hood SA1016 is listed at Sachtler website for the Canon EOS C300 & C500 camera LCD.

The Sachtler SA1016 Mini Hood would be too large for the Canon XF605's flip out LCD. A 3.5" model like the following would work. Sachtler SA1009 Mini Hood BH #SAMH35

The monitor on the C300 Mark II is 4 the same as the C300 monitor. No reports have come in on the compatibility of this sunshade and this monitor so we only offer the opinion that it should work.
