If the lens has 77mmm threads it will certainly fit.
The question of whether it will vignette will require mounting it on the lens will depend on the lens. Mine is on a GF Fuji 80 mm and it does not.
A 70 is a bit wider. Buy the hood and screw it on. If it vignettes you can easily return it

This 77mm screw-in hood will fit your Sony lens. if you are using filters make sure they are double threaded 77mm male and female to accept the hood.
