    Vanguard VEO CM-264 Reviews

VEO CM-264 Carbon Fiber Monopod is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Walking Stick/Monopod Due to multiple knee issues I am forced to use a walking stick or cane for most outings. In the past, I bought walking sticks that could also be a monopod. For my 6'5 frame, they were usually flimsy and too short to be a good monopod, Last year I discovered the Vanguard monopod. It is intended as a monopod, but is very strong and makes a great walking stick. I left the thing at a gas station a few weeks ago. When it came time to buy a new one, there was never any doubt what I would get. That's about the best testimonial for a product- a 2nd purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied I was particularly interested in a monopod that would double as a walking stick, to help with mobility issues. This item fits the bill perfectly, it was used at a recent car show, first to help with moving around and then with steadying the camera (Canon M3). Good purchase for me, item quality is very good as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Addition This has been a good addition, much easier to carry than the full tripod and works great as a walking stick. Would recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile strudy monopod This monopod clearly qualifies as a monopod / hiking stick, the BH search function should find it as that. It has sturdy metal tip for hiking on unpaved trails and a solid rubber foot for indoors or other use, see product images at BH. The rubber foot seems over dimensioned for hiking, but I found it not disturbing on a mountain hike. I may DIY trim it down anyway. As a not so heavy monopod it is clearly sturdy enough for hiking use. I like its smaller packing size as compared to other trekker - monopods thanks to its 4 sections. I find the small Kirk QRC-1 clamp practical and useful to match with an arca style plate or lens foot. The monopod, with clamp, is fit to support a camera + lens like the Nikon 300mm f/2.8 on location.
