question
Only regulates to 14.4VDC? At other sites it states 12-18VDC
The manufacturers site states as follows: The 30? Power Converter P-Tap to Sony A7 Type Dummy Battery from IndiPRO Tools allows you to power your camera using external batteries with a P-Tap power connector. The converter regulates any input voltage within the range of 12 to 18 VDC, providing 7.2 volt output. It features a P-Tap connector on one end and a dummy battery that fits into a Sony A7 battery compartment on the other end. I'm using it with a A7RII and it works fine.

question
What is the output on this? I'm concerned about it outputting more than the camera can handle.
We have one for an A7S2. It is fine, camera has no issue with it. It is regulated so does not put out more voltage than the camera can deal with.
