SWIT S-3602 Overview

The SWIT S-3602U Dual Charger/Adapter for Sony BP-U30/U60 Batteries has two channels with a 16.7 VDC, 1.9A output each for simultaneously charging two batteries. It is compatible with the SWIT S-8U65/S-8U95 and Sony BP-U30/U60 batteries. Four-LED charging indicators for each channel indicate the percentage level of charge remaining.

This dual charger also has a DC barrel port that provides a 12 VDC, 1.9A output and a cable for powering your Sony PMW or PXW series camera.

Having two charge slots is useful. The LEDs indicating it is plugged in and the state of charge of the batteries (each slot has its own “battery power gauge “ showing state of charge) are really bright and are visible from at least 20 feet away so you don’t have to be right on top of the charger to see how the batteries are doing.

Will charger work as power supply for Sony FS5 camera? I ask this noting that aside from physical connector, FS5 requires regulated 12v DC input.

It will not. This DC output is for Sony PMW series cameras, which have a different connection over the FS5.
