The TMS-135 Studio Monitor Stands from Auray are durably constructed and designed to support studio monitors at the optimal listening position in professional and home recording studios. Each stand is constructed from steel tubing and a 9" square steel plate. An ergonomic locking knob secures each stand, while a locking pin is inserted into six pre-drilled holes to allow the height of each monitor to be precisely adjusted in 3" increments between 36 and 54". Additionally, each steel plate features foam strips to keep you monitors securely in place, while reducing unwanted vibrations.

The triangular base provides a 17" spread for stability, while easily fitting into tight spaces near walls, behind desks, or in corners.  They come with both interchangeable rubber feet for hard wood floors as well as metal spike feet for carpeted floors. The necessary tools and hardware for assembling the stands and changing the feet from rubber pads to metal spikes are included. Four cable guides are included on the central supports for neatly securing cables to the stand.

  • Sturdy metal shaft and mounting plate supports monitors up to 90 lb
  • Stable Support: The triangular base features wide tubing and has a 17” spread for stability
  • Convenience: The triangular-shaped base fits into tight spaces near walls, behind desks, or in corners
  • Adjustable: The telescoping shaft adjusts from 36 to 54” with six pre-drilled holes at 3” intervals to set the monitors at the ideal height for optimum monitoring
  • Secure: Ergonomic locking knobs and a locking pin provide security for the monitors
  • Adjustable: Rubber feet and interchangeable leveling spikes provide stability on many different floors including carpeted surfaces

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Value in My Video Edit Suite These stands do exactly what I needed them to do. I use them in my edit suite to do the following: -hold my M-Audio BX5 speakers higher than desktop level where my video monitors take all the space -provide a sturdy and safe spot for the speakers -look good -sound good- The ability to safely set them to a variety of heights makes them more useful than other stands that might be set to one height only. Room arrangements change and so do ideas about best configurations. -cost very little

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bummer I was happy with the purchase and how quickly expedited. unfortunately the spot welding in the tube snapped and structure collapsed right before I could mount the monitor. :( I would not recommend this item

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Things of Beauty I decided to go with the Auray TMS-135 monitor stands, because they appeared to be simple. After setting them up in my home studio, they are simple enough to not distract, but yet have a solid, commanding look to them. They hold my Behringer Truth monitors with ease, without changing the colour of the sound. Beautiful and functional. Want a sturdy pair of monitor stands that have a small footprint, but are still as sturdy as you could need? The Auray TMS-135 should do you, just fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I got a bad one! Spot welding broke off inside the tubing, that secures the stem to the base. Not worth the effort replacing it under warranty. Its a Bad design. I'll take the loss!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value Such a good price I ordered two pair. They hold my 5 monitors nicely. Shipping was super quick and packaged safely. If you are wondering, as I was, if the stands may be be lacking because they were priced so low do not worry as these things are heavy duty and will hold three times the weight of my 8 monitors which weigh 30lbs each. Very happy with my purchase in every way. Great deal! Thanks B&H!I made a 12x12 platform for my 8 monitors and attached them to the included 9x9 platforms from below with shallow screws. My 8 monitors have a 12x13 footprint so I didn't feel comfortable placing them on the 9x9 platform only, though due to their weight they probably would have been OK. It cost $ for a 12x24 finished Beechwood shelf plank at Home Depot and they cut it in half for free so why risk having a monitor take a fall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product & customer service, some issues. Sturdy and well-built, hold a pair of Boston Acoustic A70s with surprisingly little issue (granted at lowest possible height). They are doing the job magnificently well at home. Feet are easy to level, the height is easy to adjust, everything is straightforward to turn, the built-in grippy surface provides alarmingly good retention. Sway is quickly damped even with some pretty heavy solid cabinets up on there that overhang the base plates by a respectable margin, and the triangles really do save space. Jeff from customer service has been great to work with. Unfortunately--one base came with a misdrilled hole such that the bottom plates would not align, making the entire stand tippy and unsafe, and the other pole had a missing hole for the cord retention clip. Customer service was quick to answer but it took some time to get the new pieces dispatched. The shipping label I received was also only for the one piece and I wound up returning the other piece at my expense...again, customer service was quick to acknowledge the need for reimbursement and begin the process, but it took some time to get the check cut and sent. So--if we look at the product itself, whether on day 1 I had the speaker stands I went to some trouble to find, three stars, 'no'. If we look at the overall process, in the end do I have good, stable speaker stands where everything is working, five stars, 'yes'. Had the time between customer service's rapid responses and the actual issuance of parts/label/check been lower (or just parts/label for both returns), I would have no reservations about five stars. Manufacturing defects happen, I get that. But if time is of the absolute essence for putting these to 100% use--last-minute DJing or something similar--I don't know that I'd recommend these as a first pick and roll the dice. Which is a shame because the design really is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy studio stands When I ordered these during a price special, I somehow forgot to check on their actual size. Once I put them together, they turned out to be a bit taller at minimum height than what I expected, but nonetheless they impress me with excellent built quality and solid flexibility. These stands are one good example of a well thought out product that makes sense and will certainly last a really long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work perfectly! Great Deal! I was concerned about quality because they were about half the price of what Guitar Center charges.. But it turns out that they were the identical product and they work perfectly. Stable and sturdy! Received very quickly. And I've always had good products and service from BH Photo!
