question

Do we have a specific ETA on these units? I need to buy some immediately. Also- will these units work multimode?
Asked by: Anonymous
We are currently saying December time but we do not have an exact date. The SFPs are Single Mode. It is possible to use Multimode fiber for shorter lengths.

We have a BMD VideoHub that we use to route feeds to a video wall. The video wall performs best and prefers 720p. We occasionally have speakers who want to connect to the videowall using a laptop. Can the Teranex Mini HDMI to Optical 12G down convert laptop feeds into 720 reliably? I see I can force 1080 or 4K, but can I force downconversion out of the unit so the the SDI or Fiber port out are sending 720?
Asked by: Adam
No, the Teranex Mini does not down convert video signals.
