Is there any way I can print without this ink? I never use it and now my printer demands replacement without warning.
Unfortunately the Epson P800 requires all ink colors in the printer in order to print even if it is not a color you use.

The 3880 uses a T580400 yellow cartridge, 80mm. I believe the newer T8504 cartridge for the P800 will not work in the older 3880

What is the page yield for these cartridges and for what size page? I realize page yields are approximate. 80ml sounds good, but for $55 apiece I'd like to know how far that goes.
I do not count pages etc. However, I have a photo restoration business and I have been using the initial cartridges that came with the printer until now. I just started to replace ink cartridges. I use the printer everyday with note cards 4x6; 8x10's; 11x14's; custom sizes; 17x22's. I got 4 months of prints from initial cartridges. I am satisfied. Color is great.
