  • 2GB GDDR5 vRAM
Now with a redesigned cooler, the ASUS Turbo GeForce GTX 960 Graphics Card runs cool for better GPU clock boosting. Hardware wise, this card features 2GB of 7010 MHz GDDR5 vRAM coupled to 1024 CUDA cores operating at a base clock speed of 1190 MHz with a 128-bit memory interface. The CUDA cores are arranged using NVIDIA's Maxwell architecture, allowing the GPU to operate using less power while generating less heat than the previous generation Kepler architecture.

The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs. There are three DisplayPort outputs in addition to an HDMI output and a DVI output. 4K resolution can be output through the DisplayPort and HDMI terminals. Even if the card is connected to a lower resolution display, the card can use technologies like DSR and MFAA to leverage the extra resolution for a higher quality image.

For cooling, this card uses a dual-intake blower-style cooler. This cooler uses a radial fan to pull in heat from both sides of the card and forces it through the card's heatsink and out the back of the tower case. Because both sides of the fan are open, the fan can achieve greater airflow without spinning as quickly, reducing noise and power consumption. This cooling configuration is good for SLI or other configurations where space between computer components can be a concern.
